Description

The Wizard of Venus is a fantasy book by American author Edgar Rice Burroughs, first published in 1964. It is the fifth book in the Venus series (also called the Amtor series). The book was originally published along with three other stories in the collection Tales of Three Planets. In this, the (much shorter) final book, our hero Carson Napier and his companion Ero Shan take off to test Carson's new airplane. However, something goes wrong, they are thrown off course and Carson finds himself stuck in a medieval castle belonging to an insane wizard who controls his people with hypnotic powers. Before they leave, they must find a way to help the population, as well as themselves.
