Available in PDF, epub, and Kindle ebook. This book has 121 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1920.
Written in the early 20th Century, this was a time when women were just starting to have some rights, such as voting, education, etc. Sanger saw the right of a woman to have control of her own body as the next goal. She discusses birth control, large families and the impact they have on women, abortion and the right of women not to have children if she so wishes. An emotive book which raises issues that are still (unfortunately) part of debates even in todays modern world.
Last week about 25,000 people downloaded from the site, and 5 people donated. I run this site entirely on my own - I want to be able to continue offering these books for free, but need some support to do that. If you can, please make a small donation - any amount is appreciated. Thank you! You can also support the site by buying a collection, such as the Politics, Society, Science, and Philosophy one, with 70 ebooks for only £4.00
