Studies in the Psychology of Sex, Volume 4, is the fourth of six volumes by English physician Havelock Ellis. Originally published in 1905 this volume, Sexual Selection in Man, explores the senses of touch, smell, hearing, and vision in the context of sexuality and sexual selection. The author claims, among other things, that we rely on our sense of smell when it comes to selecting a mate, and that certain climates can elevate that sensitivity.
