Description

With 8 colour illustrations by William Nicholson. The Velveteen Rabbit is a children's book by British author Margery Williams. It tells the tale of a small boy who is given a stuffed rabbit for Christmas. Mostly ignored by the child, the rabbit hears from one of the oldest toys that they have the chance to become real if they are loved enough by the children. In time, the rabbit does become the favourite toy of the young boy, but learns from some real rabbits that it meets, that because it cannot hop, it is still not a 'real rabbit'. All this changes however, when the toy is thrown away and meets a fairy.

This book has 15 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1922.

Production notes: This ebook of The Velveteen Rabbit was published by Global Grey in 2018.
