These intelligent creatures exhibit signs of sentience, which sparks a legal and ethical debate over their rights. As Holloway forms a bond with the Fuzzies, he becomes determined to protect them from exploitation by the Zarathustra Corporation, which seeks to profit from the planet's resources without regard for the indigenous life forms.
