About the Author
George Robert Stowe Mead was an English scholar, translator, and prominent Theosophist best known for his studies of Gnosticism, Hermeticism, and early mystical Christianity. Through works such as the Echoes from the Gnosis series, Mead helped introduce esoteric religious texts to English-speaking readers in the early twentieth century.
