Description

The Good Side of Christian Science is a book by American New Thought leader Christian D. Larson, first published in 1916. This short book is an analysis of Christian Science, a set of beliefs and practices belonging to the metaphysical New Thought family of new religious movements, developed in the nineteenth century in the United States by Mary Baker Eddy.

Larson acknowledges the insight of Eddy, then provides a history of the Christian Science movement. Christian Science was a new religion at the time that declared that Christianity stood for freedom here and now; that salvation is not only for the future, but also for the present; and that salvation includes salvation from sickness, trouble, adversity, poverty, and all the ills of life.
