Fairy Tales by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen is a collection of children's tales. This Global Grey edition includes 126 tales in total. Andersen's stories have become embedded in Western culture, presenting lessons of virtue, morality, and resilience, not only for younger readers, but also adults. This collection includes his most famous ones such as The Emperor's New Clothes; The Little Mermaid; The Nightingale; The Red Shoes; The Princess and the Pea; The Snow Queen; The Ugly Duckling; The Little Match Girl, and, Thumbelina. Several of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales have been adapted into ballets, plays, and films, and there are museums in Denmark and California, devoted to his life works, as well as numerous statues depicting him.

This book has 374,687 words, 603 pages in the PDF version, and the stories in it were originally published between 1820 and 1872.
