Description

With it's first lines: 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;', this is arguably one of the best known Christmas poems. Also known as 'A Visit from St. Nicholas', it was first published anonymously in 1823. Clement Clarke Moore claimed authorship of it in 1837. The poem itself tells of a family settling in for the night when the father hears noises outside. Looking out, he sees Santa Claus in his sleigh pulled by reindeer.

This book has 12 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1912.

I run this site entirely on my own and spend a lot of time (and money) doing so. I love formatting the books and offering them for free, but need some support from you, the readers. Every week, around 30,000 people download books from my site, and on average, I get about 7 donations from that. Please support the site with a small donation using the PayPal or Stripe buttons below. You don't need an account and it only takes a minute. Any amount is really appreciated. You can also support the site by buying one of the specially curated collections.
