The Teeth of the Tiger
Description
The Teeth of the Tiger is a novel by Maurice Leblanc, first published in 1914, and the seventh book in the Arsène Lupin series. The plot follows Don Luis Perenna (who is in fact, Arsène Lupin), who stands to inherit and benefit greatly after the death of his friend, Cosmo Mornington. His innocence comes under threat however, after a series of grisly murders, making it appear that he is killing anyone who stands in his way of collecting the huge sums of money.
Originally published in English, The Teeth of the Tiger wasn't even available in French until it was serialised in Le Journal in 1920. In the series, chronologically, it comes after 813.
This is a translation by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos.
