Description

This is a collection of folklore from what is now Israel/Palestine, written at the start of the 20th century. It contains an even mix of Muslim, Christian and Jewish lore. There are tales of the Jinn, magical beings that correspond to the European fairies, accounts of folk-magic, folklore from all three religions about biblical topics, animal tales, tales about fools, calendar lore, and so on.

This book has 247 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1907.
