Description

The Pathfinder, or The Inland Sea is a historical novel by American author James Fenimore Cooper, originally published in 1840. It is the third book in the Leatherstocking Tales series, featuring the frontier hero Natty Bumppo. Once more, the untamed frontier comes alive, immersing us in the life of our protagonist. Similar to the narrative of Last of the Mohicans, the story portrays a damsel in distress. However, this time, it unfolds as a romance, as our hero finds himself captivated by the charming and spirited Mabel Dunham.
