Arthur Cherep-Spiridovich was a Russian Count who moved to the United States following the Bolshevik Revolution. Introduced in his book as 'The Slav Pope', 'The Slav Bismarck', he claimed the ability of foresight. This book puts forward a concise conspiracy consisting of 300 Jewish families. According to some, he was a 'clinical case'; others saw him more of a con man, who 'combined Barnum promotion techniques with propagation of the stories supplied by his European friends'. Either way, this book, published in 1926 is an early example of the 'Jews are to blame for everything' conspiracy, of which we unfortunately see so much of, even today.
