Description

The Enlightenment of the World is a short book by John G. Abizaid. Published in 1912, this obscure book claims to contain proof that the Earth is flat and stationary, while the sun, moon, and stars are in constant motion. Also contains letters showing the testimony of scripture on the subject. Rather than going into detail with complex experiments, figures and formulas like many other early flat earth authors, Abizaid's book takes a down-to-Earth, 'common sense' approach to the subject, showing the apparent absurdity of the spinning globe model, and (apparently) undeniable logic of the motionless plane model, whilst totally ignoring basic concepts like gravity.

This book has 9,876 words, 26 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1912.

Production notes: This ebook of The Enlightenment of the World was published by Global Grey in 2020, and updated on the 12th March 2023. The artwork used for the cover is 'Flat-Earth Map' by Orlando Ferguson.
